Stayros Zoumpoulakis

Stavros Zouboulakis was born in 1953 in Sykia, Laconia. He studied law and literature in Athens and philosophy in Paris. He taught for many years in secondary education. From 1998 to 2012, he served as the editor of the magazine "Nea Estia." Since 2008, he has been the president of the board of the biblical foundation "Artos Zois." In February 2013, he assumed the position of president of the Supervisory Council of the National Library. In 2015, he was awarded an honorary doctorate by the Department of Philosophy, Pedagogy, and Psychology at the University of Ioannina.
