Panagiotis Gouveris

Panagiotis Gouberis was born in Thessaloniki in 1981. He is currently pursuing his doctoral dissertation in social anthropology and has been working as a special education teacher in the city of Serres since 2011. In 2013, his work "My Heart Sweats" was presented by the Municipal and Regional Theatre of Serres under the direction of Panagiotis Mendis. In 2014, he won the first prize for playwriting from UNESCO with his monologue "Autistic Swallow Nests," under the critical supervision of Stefanos Linaios. In 2015, his work "Zeibekiko Orthography" won the first prize for playwriting at the 31st literary competition of the Municipality of Agios Nikolaos. In 2016, his works "Mothers" and "Absolution" were awarded by the Limassol Theatre Development Company and the Cyprus Theatre Organization. His short stories have been published in the magazines Mandragoras, Diodos 66100, and Intervention. He has an eleven-year-old daughter named Magdalene.
