Athanasios Alexandridis

Athanasios Alexandridis is a psychiatrist, child psychiatrist, and psychoanalyst, and a member of the French, Greek, and International Psychoanalytical Societies. From "The Body Image of Schizophrenics" (1982) to the present, he has presented and published a large number of papers at Greek and international conferences, journals, and books. His main areas of interest include the psychopathology of psychoses, archaic traumas and psychosomatic disorganizations, psycholinguistics, and aesthetics. Since 1992, alongside the systematic publication of his poetic works, he has also shared his thoughts beyond traditional discourse. His recently published works include "Nature and Reason in Psychoanalysis" (2011) and "Hyperdepression" (2011) by Ikaros Publishing, where he also directs the "Psychoanalytic Series."
