
Ageliki Nikolouli
Angeliki Nikolouli was born in Pyrgos, Ilia. She is a journalist and investigator who has worked in television (MEGA, SKAI, ALPHA, ALTER), newspapers (Apogevmatini, Eleftheros Typos, Ethnos, etc.), and magazines (Eikones, Epikaira). She began her career in hard-hitting crime reporting at a young age and became the first female crime reporter in Greece. Her major achievements include exposing the activities of the "dragon" Kyriakos Papachronis (in Thessaloniki and Drama) and securing an interview with him after his arrest in the Security Detention Center; contributing to the location and arrest of the "dragon" of the southern and northern suburbs, Spyros Beskos; unveiling the wiretapping case involving politicians and officials in the country conducted by the National Intelligence Service, and testifying before the Hellenic Parliament committee. Her revelations on espionage, hijacking, and terrorism have crossed national borders. Since 1995, she has hosted the missing persons search TV show "Light in the Tunnel," which has achieved very high ratings, reaching up to 70%. She has played a significant role in solving eighteen murder cases. She collaborates with six countries, which have produced extensive features on her show. The Japanese selected "Light in the Tunnel" from forty countries as a unique program with social contribution. For this show, Angeliki Nikolouli has been honored with twenty-two awards from social organizations and the European Union. She has also been included twice in the Guinness Book of Records. Her long-standing, daily interaction with the Emergency Response Center, known as "100," provided her not only with serious news but also with spicy stories, which she brought to life with humor in her personal column in "Eleftheros Typos." Alekos Sakellarios helped her turn these stories into a humorous book in 1990 titled "The Spicy Stories of 100." She has a son, Konstantinos, who studied film directing in England and America, where he remains, pursuing his chosen profession. His name, Konstantinos, was given by his godfather, the late President of the Republic Konstantinos Karamanlis.
