Giorgos Stamkos

Giorgos Stamkos is an author and journalist. Since 1988, he has written approximately 2,000 specialized articles and analyses. He has collaborated with more than 30 different Greek and international publications. His analytical and specialized articles focus mainly on topics such as exploration, alternative technology, history, geopolitics, and Balkan studies. He has authored 14 books to date, including "Nikola Tesla: The Prophet of the 21st Century" (March 1999), "Secret Serbia" (1999, co-authored with Milica Kosanovic), "Forbidden Technology" (2000), "Geopolitics of the Archipelago" (2000, reissued 2008), "Free Energy" (2001), "Post-Apocalypse Now" (2002), and "Conspiracy Theories" (2003), "Grey Greece: The Anatomy of the Greek Syndrome" (2004), "The Wonderful World of Tesla" (2004, reissued by Pyrinos Kosmos in 2015), "Mind Control: The War for the Control of the Mind" (2005), "Haunted Balkans" (2006, co-authored with M. Kosanovic), "Tesla: The Forbidden Scientist" (2007), "Secret Technology" (2008), "Conspiracies & Conspiracy Theories" (2010), "999 Pearls of Human Wisdom" (2010), among others. His latest book (2016) is titled "The Shadow of the Bogomils: Gnosticism, Manichaean Sects of the Balkans, Cathars and Their Influence on Western Civilization." All his books have gone through multiple reprints and have sparked creative discussions, even disagreements. He has also contributed extensive writings to 18 collective works so far. For a period, he was also the publisher of specialized magazines, such as the alternative magazine ZENITH (2004-2010), and he is the creator and manager of www.zenithmag.wordpress.com. Since 2008, he has been collaborating with the weekly Serbian magazine Vreme, sending, in collaboration with M. Kosanovic, reports and analyses on developments in Greece. Finally, he has written dozens of research papers, scripts, and texts for corresponding episodes of the documentary series Balkan Express on ERT 3, as well as the 24-episode series 'Our Neighborhood the Balkans,' which was broadcast on both Prisma plus and ERT 2. He lives and works in Thessaloniki, while frequently traveling to the Balkan hinterland, particularly Serbia, which he considers his "second homeland."
