Despoina Filiou

Despina Filiou is an author of fairy tales and short stories. She was born on a spring day in May, in Elassona. She studied accounting and computer management. Her love for children led her to write children's books. Her books were showcased at the Frankfurt International Book Fair in 2014 and the Thessaloniki International Book Fair in 2013 and 2014. She has presented her fairy tales in daycare centers, kindergartens, play areas, and libraries, and has also given radio interviews (atticanews-radio, radio-elassona, and energy-radio). She attended a practical psychoeducational seminar on managing behavioral problems in childhood. She is a sponsor at the SOS Children's Village in Vari.
