Eleni Artemiou - Fotiadou

Eleni Artemiou-Fotiadou hails from Famagusta. She is the Director of Primary Education and has completed postgraduate studies in Educational Administration at the University of Cyprus. She is involved in poetry, children's literature, as well as radio and television scriptwriting. Her literary work has received various accolades. She is a collaborator with the International Art Academy. She has published the poetry books: "The Sun's Journey to the Moon," 2007, "Alex-inemos," Pilio Publishing, 2010 (Kostas Montis Award), "Adam's Paths," Pilio Publishing, 2010, "Urgent," haiku, Mandragoras Publishing, 2011, "The Circle of a Square Love," Pilio Publishing, 2012, "Bilateral Agreement," Mandragoras Publishing, 2013. Additionally, she has published the collection of short prose "Awakening 800 mg," Mandragoras Publishing, 2012, as well as children's literature books: "Time Turns," 2000, "In the Land of Sunshine," 2005 (Cyprus State Children's Literature Award), "The Champion," 2009 (Cyprus State Children's Literature Award), "Babakenios," 2009, "Aris the Moon," 2010, "The Garden with the Rosebushes," 2011, "Little Mr. Oh!," 2011, "King Xekoutis," children's theater, 2011 (Cyprus Theatre Organization Award).
