Maria Stefanou

Maria Stefanou-Koviou was born and raised in Korydallos, Attica, in a family of Asia Minor descent. From a young age, she loved theater and began actively engaging with it during her teenage years. She initially participated in amateur performances and later studied Acting at the Theatre of Changes. For educational purposes, she took part in three short films and the well-known TV series "The Tenth Commandment." Her initial writing endeavors were tentative and purely amateur, but this changed over time as many online readers enthusiastically supported her works. Paper, pencil, and subsequently her computer became her best friends. In 2011, she published her first novel titled "Silence in the Dark," followed by "Noelia, The Prophecy of the Black Rose," which was completed in 2013 with the release of "Noelia, The Return of the White Rose." She is married and a mother of two, works at a well-known commercial enterprise, and occasionally expresses herself through writing, traveling with her characters to imaginary worlds.
