Henri Tonnet

Henri Tonnet (b. 1942) is a professor of Modern Greek at the National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilizations in Paris. He also directs the Modern Greek Institute at the University of Paris IV, Sorbonne. He is the editor-in-chief of the journals "Revue des Etudes Neo-helleniques" and "Cahiers balkaniques," and serves as the president of the French Society of Modern Greek Studies [Societe des Etudes neo-helleniques].
