Konstantinos Giannopoulos

Konstantinos Giannopoulos holds a Ph.D. from the Department of Business Administration at the University of Patras, with his doctoral dissertation titled: "Tourism Satellite Accounts: Theory and Practice of a National Accounting Tool and the Greek Approach." He is a member of the Research and Tourism Satellite Accounts Laboratory (ErEDoLoT) at the Department of Business Administration, University of Patras. He graduated with honors from both the Department of Business Administration at the University of Patras and the Technological Educational Institute (TEI) of Patras, receiving scholarships and awards from the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY). He works as administrative staff in the Department of Tourism Enterprises at TEI Patras, where he has also served as the head of the Career Office and in the Research Programs Department of the Special Account for Research Funds (ELKE). He has participated as a speaker and as a member of the scientific and organizing committees in numerous events, and he is a member of the scientific research team that completed studies for ErEDoLoT, as well as other tourism-related research. He has published articles on tourism and has taught courses related to Tourism Economics and Satellite Accounts at TEI Patras and the University of Patras.
