Daniel Miller

Daniel Miller is a Professor of Material Culture in the Department of Anthropology at University College London. He specializes in the study of material culture and consumption. In recent years, his work has focused on issues of digital anthropology, while he is also interested in topics such as motherhood and the anthropology of clothing. He is participating, along with postdoctoral colleagues and his students, in a five-year research program (2012-2017) funded by the European Research Council, which examines the influence of new social media in seven different countries around the world.
