Eythymios Goumas
Makis Goumas was born in Lamia. He graduated from the Pedagogical Academy of Rhodes. He completed a two-year training program in Special Education at the Marasleio School of Primary Education and continued his postgraduate studies at the Department of Primary Education of the University of Thessaly and the Master's Program "Modern Learning Environments and Production of Educational Material" with a focus on the Teaching of Mathematics to Students with Learning Disabilities. He then pursued his doctoral dissertation on the topic: "Teaching basic mathematical concepts using manipulative and digital materials to primary school students aged 6-9 with learning difficulties in mathematics, attending Integration Classes." He teaches in the distance learning Master's Program in Education Sciences at the University of Nicosia, specializing in "Special Education and Teaching." He participates in programs as a trainer for primary education teachers, particularly in Special Education and Teaching. He has contributed to writing groups for books and articles focusing on the teaching of mathematics to students with learning difficulties and the differentiation of mathematics teaching in primary schools.
