Kostas Mpoumpouris

Kostas Boubouris hails from Marathos Agrafon in Evrytania, born to farming and livestock-rearing parents. A retired Police Director and a political candidate in Evrytania, he is actively involved in the cultural events of his region and in writing. He regularly contributes articles to local, daily, and periodical press on political, historical, and folklore topics. He has been a member of the National Society of Greek Writers since 2005. "To Kountri" (A Tribute to Mother) is his sixth book. His previous works include: "The Living Legend of Greek Forests and Its Hunters," 2000, "Katsantonis, Epic and Legend," 2002, "The Three Wild Beasts," 2003, "The Agrafiotiko Synaxari," 2004, and "Kostas Balafas and His Greece," 2010.
