Athanasia Papageorgiou

Sissy Papageorgiou was born in 1978 in Thessaloniki. She hails from Nea Fokea, Chalkidiki, where she grew up. She studied early childhood education and has worked for many years in daycare centers as well as at the YMCA of Thessaloniki. Since 2013, she has been studying European Culture at the Hellenic Open University. From a young age, she enjoyed writing stories. She has participated in literary competitions and has won three awards in children's literature.
