Michael Tsokos

Michael Tsokos was born in 1967 in Kiel and is the director of the Institute of Forensic Medicine at the Charite University and the Public Institute of Forensic and Social Medicine in Berlin. He is the most renowned forensic scientist in Germany and actively works as an expert both in Germany and internationally, including for the United Nations, in identifying civilian victims in war zones. Michael Tsokos hosts a forensic show on the National Geographic channel. His impressive collections of case studies, such as "Dem Tod auf der Spur" and "Der Totenleser," have become bestsellers.
