Ian Goldin

Ian Goldin is the director of the Oxford Martin School at the University of Oxford. The school examines, on an interdisciplinary basis, the challenges we will face in the 21st century and future prospects in cutting-edge fields, from medicine and energy to the environment and global governance. He has served as Vice President of the World Bank, CEO of the Development Bank of Southern Africa, an official at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and an advisor to Nelson Mandela. His latest books are "Divided Nations" (2013) and "Globalization for Development: Meeting New Challenges" (2012).
