Antti Tuomainen

Antti Tuomainen was born in 1971 in Finland. Before venturing into literature, he worked as a copywriter in the entertainment industry, earning numerous accolades. He made his debut in crime fiction in 2007. Two years later, the legendary "Veljeni vartija" was published, establishing him as one of the most prominent authors in the mystery novel genre. His work "The Healer" won the Clue Award for "Best Finnish Crime Novel" in 2011, cementing his status as a leading author. With a penetrating and evocative writing style, Antti Tuomainen is one of the pioneers of Scandinavian crime fiction. He lives in Helsinki.
