Marietta Kontou

Marietta Kontou
Marietta Kontou was born in the height of summer in 1972 in Athens and still feels very close to that "then"... She belongs to the generation of "Athlitiki Kyriaki," Carnation, "Lola, here is an apple," herbariums, albums with dedications, the illustrations of Sarah Kay, and the books of Penelope Delta, Alki Zei, and Zorz Sari. She still remembers black-and-white television, weekend Greek movies, and Monday Theater. She experienced the polytonic system, school uniforms, and the accents of the Greek language. She studied Psychology at the University of Athens and completed her postgraduate studies in Systemic Couple and Family Therapy, as well as her doctorate at Panteion University. Her traditional fairy tale "The White Feathers of Korakina" received an honorable mention in 2014 from the Women's Literary Society.
