Birgitta Sif

Birgitta Sif Jonsdottir was born in Reykjavik, Iceland, and lived for several years in Scandinavia and America, where she studied the art of children's illustration. She now resides in London. Her first children's book, "Oliver," was awarded the Icelandic prize for best illustration, The Dimmalimm Prize, in 2013.
