Martha Patlakoutza

Martha Patlakoutza was born and raised in Thessaloniki to parents from Eastern Thrace. Her childhood was filled with adventures in open fields and libraries. She has a great love for children, which led her to pursue a degree in Education at the Department of Primary Education of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, from which she graduated in 1990. Since 1996, she has been teaching in elementary schools across the country, and in recent years, she has been teaching in elementary schools in Thessaloniki. She is uncertain about how many years she will be able to write or whether she will do so successfully. For now, she enjoys the journey and hopes it will take a long time before she finds her Ithaca. Her books "Mertzani, the Tear of Thrace" and "Saint Paisios, the Athonite" are also published by Exi Publications
