Vasilis Alexiou

Vasilis Alexiou (Saloniki Thesprotias, 1959) studied Law and Philology at the University of Athens. He continued his postgraduate studies in Germany (University of Münster) and Spain (University of Salamanca), where he presented his doctoral dissertation in Comparative Literature with a scholarship from the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY). He worked for years as a philology teacher in secondary education, and since 2003, he has been teaching Literary Theory at the Department of Primary Education at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
