Gareth Trewartha

Gareth Trewartha was born in Tanzania, East Africa, to a Greek mother and a British father. He spent his early years on his grandfather's estate at the foot of Kilimanjaro. Due to his father's work, he later lived in various countries in East Africa. At the age of twelve, his parents decided to permanently relocate to Britain. He studied business administration while also attending drama school and a conservatory. After completing his studies, he settled in Greece and became involved in tourism. He founded a tourism business specializing in alternative tourism. In recent years, he has been focusing on issues related to the natural environment, nature tourism, and cycling tours.
