Giorgos Andreiomenos
George Andreomenos, a professor in the Department of Philology at the University of the Peloponnese (since 2008) and vice-rector of the same institution (since 2013), holds a degree from the University of Athens (1986) and a Ph.D. from the University of Birmingham (1991). He has served as a research fellow at the University of Birmingham (1991-1992) and as a scientific associate at the Directorate of Army History (1993-1994). He has taught courses in his field at the University of Patras (1995-1997), the Ionian University (1997-2008), as well as at other higher education institutions both domestically and internationally. He has received numerous scholarships, is a member of several scientific societies and evaluation committees, and has supervised a significant number of doctoral theses and research projects. His research works have been published independently or in reputable journals, and he has participated in many scientific conferences with his presentations and has given numerous lectures in Greece and abroad.
