Kostas Grivas

Konstantinos Grivas has worked as the head of the research department for new military technologies at the Institute of Defense Analyses of the Ministry of Defense. From 1996 to 2004, he was an accredited journalist at the Ministry of Defense. He has served as editor-in-chief of the magazines Strategy and War and History and as editorial director of the magazine Geopolitics. His published studies include "The End of Oil and the Beginning of the New American Geostrategy," "The Military Rise of China and the Geopolitics of War in the Middle East," and the war fantasy novels "War and Shadow" and "Final Solution." He has also authored the studies "War in the 21st Century," "The Awakening of the Nightmare, 2021. Greek Defense Strategy for the 21st Century" (co-authored with Zacharias Michas), and "Thor's Hammer: Advanced Missiles and Weapons for the 21st Century" (Institute of Defense Analyses), as well as the science fiction novels "2020. Attack on Greece" and "The Trumpet of Revelation."
