Lisa Randall

Lisa Randall is a professor of physics at Harvard University. She is one of the most influential theoretical physicists worldwide and has received numerous awards. Her research in particle physics and cosmology has led to theories beyond the Standard Model of Particle Physics, which can be experimentally tested at the CERN LHC, while a significant portion of her work involves String Theory. Randall is a member of the National Academy of Sciences, the American Philosophical Society, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, an honorary fellow of the Institute of Physics, and holds many honorary degrees. She is the author of the books "Knocking on Heaven's Door," "Warped Passages," and "Higgs Discovery."
