Michalis Griveas

Michalis Griveas, son of Konstantinos, was born in 1955 in Athens and resides in Agia Paraskevi. He is married to Manina Bazaiou and is the father of Konstantinos and Chrysanthi. He studied at the Department of Surveying Engineering at the Polytechnic School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). He pursued postgraduate studies at the Institute of Regional Development of Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences. Michalis is a surveyor engineer and urban planner. He has been socially active since his student years and continues to be involved to this day. He writes articles on scientific, political, and local government issues for daily and local press. In 2014, two of his short stories were awarded in literary competitions: - "The Bride with the Dismembered Face" by Literature.gr in the competition themed "Love in the Time of Crisis." - "23.5 Degrees Tilt" by Eyelands and Strange Days Publications in the competition themed "Winter." In the same year, his first book, a novel titled "The Fishbowl," was published by Iolkos Publications.
