Walter Lewin

Walter Lewin is a successful astrophysicist, a pioneer in X-ray astronomy, and the author of more than 450 scientific papers. He taught the three core physics courses at MIT for over thirty years. His lectures were so popular that they were recorded and became hits on YouTube and iTunes U. He has been honored with numerous awards and is a member of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences and the American Physical Society.
