
Susan Cain
Susan Cain is a graduate of Princeton and Harvard Law School. She has worked as a corporate law consultant for companies such as J.P. Morgan, General Electric, and Merrill Lynch. As an introverted individual in a highly aggressive environment, she decided to study and deeply research the subject of introversion. The result of this extensive research is her first book titled "Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking." It has already been translated into 36 languages and has sold millions of copies worldwide, sparking discussions about the value and unique skills of introverts in an era that has idealized extroversion. "Quiet Power" is her second book.
Her TED talk, a favorite of Bill Gates among others, has surpassed 19 million views and is one of the most popular in the history of the platform. She has given lectures at Harvard and Yale, as well as at Microsoft and Google. Additionally, she conducts negotiation skills seminars for businesses, law firms, and universities. She lives in New York State with her husband and their two sons.
