Andy Weir
Andy Weir worked for two decades as a software engineer until his first book, "The Martian" (published by Papadopoulos Publishing), achieved worldwide success and was uniquely adapted into a film by Ridley Scott. This success allowed him to fulfill his lifelong dream of dedicating himself to writing. He continues to be passionate about anything related to space, as well as subjects like relativistic physics, astrodynamics, and the history of manned space missions. Among his other talents, he also knows how to make amazing cocktails. He lives in California.
