Foteini Tzavella

Fotini Tzavella is an Assistant Professor of Sociology of Health at the University of the Peloponnese. She was born in Athens and studied at Panteion University, the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), the Institut d'Etudes Politiques (Science Po-Paris), and the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). Her writing, teaching, and research work is situated in the broader field of the sociology of health, and she is the author of the book "Notes of Ignorance" (Livani Publishing, 2014). She is a member of the Policy Committee of the Greek Section of Amnesty International.
