Andrés Neuman

Andrés Neuman (1977, Buenos Aires) has written novels, short stories, essays, and poetry collections. At the age of 22, he published his first novel titled "Bariloche," for which he was recognized as the First Finalist for the Herralde Prize. He was later included in the Bogotá-39 list of outstanding new talents in Latin America and was selected by the publishing organization Granta as one of the best young Spanish-language novelists. His novel "Traveler of the Century" was honored with two of Spain's most prestigious literary awards (the Alfaguara Prize and the National Critics Prize), was chosen as one of the best books of the year by newspapers "The Guardian," "The Independent," and "Financial Times," and was nominated for the 2013 Independent Foreign Fiction Prize and the International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award.
