Anna Todd is the author of the New York Times best-selling series "After," the book "The Spring Girls," and the most recent "The Brightest Stars." A reading enthusiast, Todd began writing stories on her phone on Wattpad, the online platform for reading and writing original stories, with "After" becoming her most-read series, surpassing 1.5 billion reads. The print edition of "After" was released in 2014 and has since been published in more than 35 languages, with sales exceeding 11 million copies worldwide, becoming a #1 best seller globally. Following this, she wrote eight more novels. She is also a producer and screenwriter for the anticipated film adaptation of "After We Collided," the sequel to "After." Todd has been recognized by Cosmopolitan as "the biggest literary phenomenon of her generation." Born in Ohio, she currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband and their son.
