Giota Athanasiou

Giota Athanasiou was born in Athens and graduated from the Department of History at the School of Philosophy of Athens. She holds a master's degree in Modern Greek Philology from the Department of Philology at the University of Athens and has attended seminars in theatrical education and acting. She works as a facilitator for educational programs for children, tells stories and myths, and writes and presents performances for children. She has published the poetry collections "The Heart Thief" (2010, Evia Publications Kinito-Kalemi) and "A Ladder to the Sea" (2015, Zatheon Pyr Publications). She is married to Angelos Anagnostopoulos, and they have two children, Ismene and Themis.
