Spyros Zacharatos

Spyros Zacharatos was born in 1951 in Kefalonia. He graduated from the Korgialeneio High School of Argostoli. Since 1973, he has been living in Athens. He worked as a pharmaceutical preparer at "Heraclitus" under Kostas Manolkidis. For his livelihood, he pursued a career in the petroleum industry. He has been awarded in poetry competitions, particularly in songwriting contests. He has been praised by distinguished critics and other literary figures. He apprenticed alongside scholars and has collaborated with significant composers and singers. He is a member of the Society of Greek Writers, Vice President of the New Members Evaluation Committee (EKNM), and a member of AEPI for creators of Greek songs.
