
Nansy Ageli
Nancy Angeli was born in Evia in 1982. She studied journalism at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and has been professionally involved in translating literary works from Spanish to Greek and vice versa since 2008. She has collaborated with the Center for Byzantine, Cypriot, and Modern Greek Studies at the University of Granada as well as with the International Institute of Translation, InstitutVirtualInternacionaldeTraduccio, at the University of Alicante. Her translations of poems by contemporary Spanish poet Ángel González have been featured in the online magazine "Poiein" (www.poiein.gr). She has also worked with the magazine for short stories "Planodion - Bonsai Stories" (http://bonsaistoriesflashfiction.wordpress.com/), undertaking the editing and translation of a tribute to the renowned Uruguayan author, Mario Benedetti.
