
Erwin Schrödinger
Erwin Schrödinger was one of the pioneers in the field of Theoretical Physics, on par with Einstein, Planck, and Heisenberg in shaping the modern understanding of nature. He was born in Vienna in 1887 and passed away at his home on January 4, 1961. In December 1933, he was awarded the Nobel Prize for the discovery of Wave Mechanics.
