Olga Mpakopoulou

Olga Bakopoulou was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, and grew up in Athens. She studied Sociology and English Philology and completed a master's degree in Applied Pedagogy at the University of Surrey. She attended seminars in screenwriting, directing, and creative writing. Olga has written scripts for short films and TV movies. In 2005, her script for the TV movie "Geia Chara" won first prize in a screenwriting competition organized by IEK AKMI and CINEMA magazine. In 2009, she wrote the script for the short film "Behind the Clouds," which received the Audience Award at the Athens Fantasy Film Festival, as well as the Best Actor Award at the Patras Festival. She directed short films and participated in the production of several others.
