
Maria Karagianni
Maria Karagianni was born in the early 1980s in Kalamata. In 2003, she graduated from the Hellenic Police Officers Academy and shortly thereafter entered the Athens Law School, where she completed her studies in economics. She balances her daily life with the inspiration and sensitivity of writing. She speaks three foreign languages and, at every opportunity, packs dreams and aspirations into a small suitcase and travels to cities around the world. In 2015, her first novel, "In the Shadow of Silence," was published, achieving great success and being translated into English and Chinese. In 2017, "The House of Seagulls" was released by Kleidarithmos Publications, receiving rave reviews.
