Wolfgang Streeck

Wolfgang Streeck was born in 1946 in Lengerich, Germany. From 1995 to 2014, he served as the director of the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies at the University of Cologne. He is a member of the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities as well as the Academia Europaea. Streeck has taught at the University of Wisconsin, the University of Frankfurt, and the University of Bielefeld. He participates in numerous international research committees and has been repeatedly honored for his work.
