
Lena Divani
Lena Divani was born in 1955 in Volos. She is a professor of History of Foreign Policy at the Law School of Athens. She has published five historical studies and numerous articles on modern Greece and its relations with the Great Powers, as well as its Balkan neighbors, minorities, and nationalism in Southeast Europe. Additionally, as a writer, she has published ten novels and short story collections, which have been translated into many languages and adapted for television and cinema, a comprehensive volume of her theatrical works, and four children's books. She collaborated with the Hellenic Cultural Center on issues concerning the Greek diaspora. She was a founding member of the National Commission for Human Rights and served as vice president of the National Book Center and the Organization for Collective Management of Literary Works.
