Ken Robinson

Sir Ken Robinson is internationally recognized as a pioneer in the field of education development, creativity, and innovation. He is also one of the most influential speakers worldwide, with his talks having a profound impact on audiences everywhere. It is estimated that over 240 million viewers in more than 150 countries have watched his now-famous TED Conference talks from 2006 and 2010. He collaborates with governments in Europe, Asia, and the USA, international agencies, Fortune 500 companies, and some of the world's leading cultural organizations. In 1998, he was appointed by the UK government to lead the committee on creativity, education, and the economy. The work of this committee was published in 1999 and received widespread acclaim. He played a central role in the Peace Process of Northern Ireland, part of which involved him developing a strategy for creative and economic development in collaboration with the Ministers of Education, Trade, and Culture. In 2005, he was named one of the "Principal Voices" by Time/Fortune/CNN. In 2003, he was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II for his services to the arts.
