Juan Manuel de Prada

Juan Manuel de Prada was born in 1970. He spent his childhood and teenage years in Zamora and now lives in Salamanca. Although he holds a degree in Law, his sole professional pursuit has been literature. A regular contributor to newspapers, he has cultivated storytelling, criticism, and translation, and has been honored with numerous literary awards throughout his career. His work "Coños" brought him worldwide fame, which was further solidified with his subsequent books, "El Silencio del Patinador" (The Silence of the Skater, 1995), "Las máscaras del héroe" (The Masks of the Hero, 1996), and "La tempestad" (The Tempest, 1997).
