
Ian Mannok
Ian Manook is a French journalist, publisher, and author, born in 1949. His real name is Ian Manoukian. A great traveler, at the age of eighteen, he spent two years crossing the United States and Canada. At twenty-four, he traveled through Iceland, Belize, Brazil, and America, like a true beatnik. He returned to France in the '70s and collaborated with various magazines, while in the '80s he founded the Manook publishing house, specializing in travel publications, and Tournon editions, aimed at young readers. After a trip to Mongolia, which he fell in love with, the man of a thousand faces dedicated himself to writing detective novels set there, featuring police commander Yeruldelgger.
