
Panagiotis THoma
Panagiotis Thomas was born in Larnaca, Cyprus, in 1981. He studied theology at Aristotle University and earned a master's degree from the Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology in Boston (2005). He was awarded a doctorate in theology from Aristotle University (2010) after his dissertation on the concept of place in the works of Nikos G. Pentzikis and Wendell Berry was approved. He teaches Religious Studies at the English School in Nicosia, Religious Education Methodology in Early Childhood Education at Frederick University, and a postgraduate seminar titled Theology and Culture at the Department of Education Sciences at the University of Cyprus. His articles and studies have been published in both Greek and English journals (Synaxi, Intel-lectum, Eneken, The Journal of Religion and Film, Synthesis, etc.). He is the Editor-in-Chief of the electronic magazine Sym-voli of the Holy Metropolis of Kyrenia.
