Giorgos Lathyris

George Lathyres was born in Evrytania on January 12, 1962. He completed his secondary education in Agrinio and then pursued legal studies at the University of Athens. Subsequently, he followed classical studies at the School of Philosophy in Athens, specializing in Linguistics within the Department of Philology. Simultaneously, he engaged in the study of foreign languages, primarily English and Spanish. Since 1989, he has been actively practicing law as a member of the Athens Bar Association, and in 2000, he was promoted to a lawyer at the Supreme Court of Greece. In 2013, he resigned from the legal profession to focus exclusively on his writing, translation, and teaching work. He has coordinated and directed the activities of the Cultural and Research Society "HELIODROMION" since its founding in 1992. He has delivered numerous lectures in Athens and various cities across Greece. He teaches Greek Language, History, and Philosophy in the Study Departments of HELIODROMION.
