THeodoros A. Koutroukis

Born in 1966 in Thessaloniki, he is a labor economist and an assistant professor at the University of the Aegean. He studied at the Universities of Thessaloniki (B.Sc., M.Sc.), Panteion (Ph.D., PostDoc), Athens University of Economics and Business (PostDoc), and the Hellenic Open University (M.A.). He serves as a Mediator-Arbitrator for collective bargaining at the Organization for Mediation and Arbitration (OMED) and as an evaluator for European Social Fund programs. He is a member of the Economic Chamber and the International Industrial Relations Association (IIRA). He has worked as an investment consultant (mutual funds) at Interamerican. He is the author of nine books and has numerous publications in Greek and international scientific journals. He collaborates with the newspapers "Investor" and "Thessaloniki," as well as the magazines "Public Sector" and "Trade Union Review." He is also a member of the board of directors of the Institute for Consultation and Labor Studies (IDEM).
