Giulia Enders

Giulia Enders has been awarded a scholarship twice by the Wilhelm und Else Heraeus Foundation and is conducting research for her doctoral thesis in medicine at the Institute of Microbiology in Frankfurt. In 2012, her presentation on gut function titled 'Darm mit Charme' won first prize at the Freiburg Science Slam. In 2014, "Gut: The Inside Story of Our Body's Most Underrated Organ" was published in Germany, selling over 1,500,000 copies and being translated into more than 35 languages. She lives between Mannheim and Frankfurt.
