Dimitris Simos

Dimitris Simos was born in December 1987. A graduate of the Athens University of Economics and Business, he completed his postgraduate studies in finance in 2014, while simultaneously deciding to pursue crime fiction. A devoted admirer of the Georges Simenon school, he loves Izzo and does not hesitate to acknowledge Mediterranean noir as his favorite genre of crime literature. For "Frogs," his first literary work, he was awarded the first prize in the nationwide novel competition Silver Page. His first play, "The Red Beehive," was staged at the City Theater. Since January 2016, he has been one of the youngest members of the Hellenic Crime Writers Club.
