Ekaterina Gritsan
Ekaterina Gritsan was born and studied in Moscow at Lomonosov State University, in the Department of Byzantine and Modern Greek Studies. There, she worked at the Greek Consulate and as a teacher of the Modern Greek language. She then completed her postgraduate studies in the Department of French Language and Literature at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). Since 2008, she has been residing in Thessaloniki, where she teaches Russian at various language centers and is pursuing her doctoral dissertation in the Department of Modern Greek Studies at AUTH. She is proficient in five foreign languages, and her areas of expertise include translation and language teaching, comparative linguistics, and comparative literature.
