Anna Alikioti

Anna Alikioti was born in Athens, where she completed her secondary education. She studied at the Department of French Language and Literature at the School of Philosophy of the University of Athens. She continued her studies (Maitrise - DEA) at the Sorbonne University (Paris III) and earned her Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics from the same university. Since 2003, she has been a member of the Academic Staff at the Hellenic Open University (Postgraduate Specialization for French Teachers) in the thematic unit "Development of Written Language Skills." She taught French (general and specialized: FLE/FOS/FOU) at Panteion University from 1980 to 2014. Under the auspices of the university's research committee, she authored a manual titled "Techniques for Reading French Scientific Texts." She has participated in conferences and published papers in scientific journals on the teaching of French as a foreign language. Additionally, she was a member of the review committee of the Pedagogical Institute for the writing of the French textbook for the first year of high school and the development of educational software for the French course in high schools.
